"Monique Pansier began her pottery career with a course at the renowned Vallauris studio of Madoura, where she met Suzanne Ramie and Picasso. She later became a decorator at Cerenne, working for Mr and Mrs Neveu. There she met her future husband Kurt Brunner who was Swiss. The couple set up their own studio Poterie du Verseau in Vallauris, moving in 1967 to the Quartier des Issarts where they worked until their retirement in 1988. They produced for the home market on the French Riviera and for export. They also produced for Restaurants in the Cannes area.
